Well, Virginia Wade hit the ball harder than the other players of her era;
does that mean she overpowered them? My point is that you've singled out
just one attribute out of a number that Lendl used to win matches; it'd be
just as correct to say he "out-placed", "out-consistenced", or
"out-manouvered" them. I'd estimate that most points involving Lendl went
for at least six strokes and many went much more. Points based around
overwhelming power are generally over in one or two strokes.
