I think Sampras at Wimbledon is overrated. I've never seen him play as well
as either Mac or Becker at their Wimbledon peaks. If you're judging Becker
from the 1990's travesty get a tape of him in '86.........

More consistent but never as good as Becker at his short-lived peak.

No, this isn't what I meant. His drug-use impaired his play which became
sluggish and lacking in intensity. He tried to manufacture emotions he'd
naturally used to enhance his performances pre-87. As for Becker's
perception of Sampras I've learnt from experience not to take ANY notice of
player's historical perspectives. They're ignorant in this regard.....
