No I don't. Let's look at the 2 FO finals she lost :

- '90 - Graf led 6-2 in 1st t/b & lost 6 straight pts, & lost tight 2nd set.

 - '92 - Seles sqeaks it out 6-2 3-6 10-8. The score says it all...

This was all at a time when Graf was way below her '87-'89 level. Seles was
at her best & never had a really convincing win over Graf. Obviously seles
deserved to be ranked No.1 while Graf was self destructing all over the
place (eg losing to Sabatini of all people, & Novotna), but Graf's best form
beats Seles' best on all surfaces. Seles at her best was excellent, but
never surpassed the best Graf form....

Also keep in mind Seles was fortunate to even make FO finals in '90 & 92 -
eg Sabatini led in '92 semi 4-1 in 3rd set with *2 breaks*. So all this
points to her clay record not being as dominant as say Evert & Graf
herself....

I'm not bagging Seles as I was a big fan, but when you start suggesting she
had surpassed the greatest players, then you need to put the handbrake
on.... ; )
