I was running a TI workshop in Sydney, during the prime ministerial election in Nov 01 and everyone was most concerned about getting out in time to get to the polls. What was most amusing though is to see that the level of pandering to the voting public by John Howard and his opponent (can't recall who it was) was even worse than in the US. Every day, without fail, one of them would announce a shameless new giveaway to some segment of the voting public. The next day the other would attempt to top it. Hilarious. Terry
