The political climate is so poisoned (it is even reflected in a few replies found in this newsgroup) that US citizens are becoming more and more alienated by the political parties and politicians. The result is that the majority of remaining voters go to the polls just to choose the lesser of two evils in the hope that they won't be screwed by them. Rick
