I've kept out of this political argument so far, and will do so after this,
but i just wanted to say that Anti-Americanism, doesn't just stem from the
Gulf-saga of the last 15 years, even before that it was there.

Not the the hate of Americans, rather the rolling of the eyes, as the the
chubby american tourist, once again with his hawaiian shirt and camera,
grossly mispronounces another regional english word, announces it to be
disappointing compared to "the one we have at home", complains about the
food and basks in the glory of his blatant lack of sophistication ;)

However, as Eddie Izzard said, when tackling the problems faced by american
citizens due to your foreign policy, "Just say you're Canadian"...
