I have been following this thread since it began. And i have to agree with mike on this one. This is one of the best rule changes that ASA has made in a long time. The runner has the right to the base unless the defender has the ball. What could make it more simply then that. If not stay out of the way. Just like the runner has to when the fielder is fielding the ball. Make since to me, but then I am an umpire also.
