I have seen many collisions in the FP & SP game. I've seen banged up heads, arms, knees, calves and some ankles. The rule change will make the game safer as there is no longer an advantage of setting up where one doesn't belong on the hope the umpire will allow it to happen because it was close. Hopefully, that will encourage coaches to change their instructional strategy and teach the girls how to accept the ball and make a tag without unnecessarily taking abuse. Mike Rowe DASA UIC
