Re: Approved ASA Rule Changes

I wasn't addressing the propriety of the rule, only the impact.  It
seems like taking away the 1 to 2 step defensive advantage of blocking
the base while waiting for the ball implies major changes in both
defensive and offensive strategies as what used to work will not any
more. I can't wait to see how umps apply the new rule.
