This was the most spectacular display of obstructionistic and time-wasting
tactics I've ever seen in my life. After giving up someting like a million
goalscoring chances to Juve in the first half, Gala managed to stifle Juve's
game in the second half completely with a combination of good ball
possession and having at least two players flopping to the pitch in agony as
soon as Juve gained control of the ball. After the first couple of times
Juve tried to play on, disregarding the hidden code of putting the ball out
of play, but they were drowned in boos by the excellent Turkish crowd (as
expected, playing in Germany didn't hurt Gala's home field advantage at
all).
