http://www.shotsweb.co.uk/ Aldershot Town glided effortlessly into the 4th Round of the Hampshire Senior Cup with a comfortable victory over Locksheath. A side mainly composed of youth and reserve players along with a few first teamers was simply too strong in attack. Michael Harper grabbed a hat trick with the impressive Jamie Taylor and a frustrated Aaron McLean grabbing a brace each. The pick of the goals was Harper's second. With clinical finesse he chipped the ball over an onrushing defender, brought the ball down on his chest then rifled an unstoppable effort past Matt Willsher. McLean could have already scored four goals before he finally found the net on 72 minutes. Three one-on-one efforts were all squadered by the spring healed striker before he finally scored in good humoured fashion. With the relaxed atmosphere and joking around with the fans in full flow, Jamie Taylor was in irresistable form as he took two fine goals and unselfishly laid on a couple of the others in an excellent all round performance.
