Lyndon was born in 1966 Georgetown,Guyana he and Charmaine moved to
Canada when they were quite young I think (less than 10?)

66 caps for the national side, 3 goals

Previous Clubs: Toronto Lynx (A-League) , Hampton Roads Mariners
(A-League), Montreal Impact (A-League),
Birmingham City (English 2nd Div.), various CSL teams

good ball skills, endless pace, could never finish though.

I remember first seeing Lyndon play in a friendly circa 1986 versus
Wales. He was playing to a local crowd in Aylmer Quebec. Someone in
the crowd asked who the little guy was - "Oh, that's Jimmy's friend"
came the reply. He is forever fondly remembered by my soccer watching
cronies as Jimmy's friend.

He's not much older than to Charmaine who was born January 15, 1968 -
at 35 she was one of the fittest on the Canadian squad in the recent
WWC. Accolades too many to mention, Charmaine has 107 caps (dating
back to 1987!) and 60 goals and has played (and excelled at) almost
every position on the field except for goalkeeper. A football goddess
who has never received enough recognition, especially in her own
country. I hope she plays in the Olympics

You'll appreciate this Veronica,

both Lyndon and Charmaine are graduates of the Nepean Hotspurs Soccer
club -
(and Steve Yzerman and I went to highschool together - although he was
five years younger and I probably wouldn't have given him the time of
day at the time, a situation that is now surely reversed)

two in one day, phew!
