I wondered what had happened to him.

Not to hijack your thread, as it were, but do you know that the
Canadian newsmedia reported earlier this year that Roman Abramovich
wanted a "Chelsea" in the NHL? With a catch -- only fielding Russian
players.

Interesting that he has no such nationalist-like compunctions in the
football.
