Although not technically Bay Area but a very good weekend destination
is Monterey /Pebble Beach (about 1:20 from S.J.).

Close to 24mi loop from Lovers Point in Pacific Grove to Pebble Beach Lodge
and back along the ocean with little to no traffic and some moderate
(35mph) hills to boot.

Skate club meet Sun. 8:30 at the upper Lovers Point parking lot.
