Seriously though, back to skates, I like the idea of just getting a regular strap and buckle and put it on and be done with it. I think I will keep the pair I scored this year. They do have quite an open spot in the boot for ventilation, and would get kind of cool in the weather I am skating in now, but what the heck is duct tape made for anyway? You should see my helmet, it has all the vents taped up and my melon doesnt freeze anymore. Never have found a problem the duct tape wouldnt fix.
