Just because I'm curious (and you probably won't answer this because you always claim you "don't have to answer a question just because I asked"), do you consider Apollo Anton Ohno's OGM, the one he won when half the other skaters tripped and fell, the "sign of a true champion"? Or simply the sign of a skater who did what he had to do to win a particular competition? -Amy No, I don't consider him a true champion--he was just lucky. And what I said about answering questions is that nobody is forced to answer a question just because somebody else asked it. When I felt that your question was a little nasty and condescending, I chose not to answer. That is certainly my privilege. And I did not say that ONLY non-skating fans think the Olympic Gold Medal is the sign of a true champion. Now, c'mon, Amy--you know very well that Michelle Kwan herself considers the Olympic Gold the most important medal there is, as do many skating fans.
