Who do we expect to announce retirement before this year's 6N
competition? I know Woody has expressed his desire that no one does
anything hasty before this years tournement, but is his serious? Can the
likes of Back, Dallaglio, Leonard, Johnson really lift their game for
the 6N's. I fear that if we do not make changes the team will enter the
tournement expecting some kind of victory parade and come very seriously
unstuck.
I'm in favour of dropping the aging members of the pack, probably Dawson
and Bracken and possibly Greenwood for next years 6N's. I would not
expect to get a slam, but we need to build a team for the future. My
biggest concern would be who to make captain. My guess is that it should
be Vickery.
