This is almost true. There are a number of options that need to be gone
through first. The NZRU should have taken action against Mitchell at that
point if there was a complaint - seemingly there was none.

In fact, the failure of the NZRU to act could be seen as evidence of a
constructive dismissal by Randell and Cullen, if they were to take such
proceedings, as they could reasonably argue that they still had time in the
game.

But once again, the salient point is that it is a failure of the NZRU, not
Mitchell in particular. When is everyone going to realise where the true
incompetency lies here?

It's not a matter of competency, it's a matter of consistency. You can't *with moral consistency* dump people, slag them off in public and them threaten legal action when you get criticised in the same way.
