My understanding is that emails have been going around the "Aussie
ex-pat" community, suggesting that Aussies may want to contribute to
Henman's success in this award.

I guess they don't know the nationality of each vote, but they can
probably guess that a large proportion of the votes for Henman may be
as a result of these emails that have been circulating.
