Mitchell is in charge of selection, and selection is a determinant of
remuneration. Drawing a pretty long bow to claim otherwise. And from
what I hear if they didn't 'performance manage' him it's because they
had trouble with basic communication.

Pretty poor shot of Mitchell to take, when his contract is up he's
judged just like any other 'employee'.
