There's not an AB playing that has a WC win on his CV. The '90 point turnaround' only occurred because the CCs managed a record 96 point win in the first place, AND they still came second in the tournament, out try-scoring the Blues in the final and suffering defeat only through lack of goal kicking. Records of Thorne-captained teams; S12; Highest margin, longest winning streak, highest season tries, highest competition points ABs; Record points over springboks (at Loftus), record points over Wallabies (at Sydney), first captain to win Bledisloe since 1997, Of course; Third highest winning captaincy percentage over all time.
