weird dream

Had a bad dream last night...
I was sitting on the grand stand watching a rugby world cup game. It was
England vs an unknown team. Of course it was a full house, and there were
lots of England supporters. Lots of them carried a big card with them. You
know, it's the sort of big card in a netball match used by fans to show
their enthusiasm. Usually they are printed with supportive slogans or catchy
words etc. so when a player scores, the fans raise it up to show "Choice" or
"Score" or "Touchdown" (in NFL) or whatever.
In my dream, England somehow got to the opponent's 22-yard line, well, just
outside the 22-yard line it was. Fans were excited...and WOW! Jonny
Wilkinson shot a drop-goal and he scroed!! England fans erupted into joy
and they raised the big cards up which all printed "Drop-goal" on them.
England fans had expected drop-goals from Jonny and he did it!!
On the other hand, fans of the opponent team, quietly sat with their head
dropped, put their big card down. Ironically their cards were printed a big
word which said "Try".
More drop-goals from Jonny Wilkinson in that match sealed the victory for
England. World champion she became. England fans looked at the fans of the
opponent team, jeering at them, and questioning why they had brought along
with the "Try" card that proved to be a waste of time and useless. And
England supporters started to give away the "Drop-goal" cards to non-England
supporters, pursuading them this would be the future of the game.
At the end everyone was very happy, or so it seemed. And the gospel of
"Drop-goal" would be spread to every corner of the world.
...and then I was waken, with my heart pounding heavily and sweat on my
forehead, thinking that "It can't be true, or can it?" What a nightmare!!
And fortunately, it was just a dream.
