Robin You have touched on the main problem we are considering. I agree with the above points about seating order. Intuitively the smaller/lighter athlete should sit at bow so as not to depress the bow into the water at the finish. However the smaller sculler has a shorter stroke than the taller man so how do you‘adjust’ for this? After all the taller guy’s blade is in the water for longer so this might encourage poor co-ordination. My opinion is that this is just a practice issue and that it will be ironed out over time- would you agree? BTW - Thanks to all previous posts for your thoughts Regards Noel
