Re: cleaning bullriding leather gear ?

Are they smooth leather or suede? Either way, hose off the dirt, let them dry naturally, and condition them with a good conditioner. I like bickmore's Bick4 (IF it's smooth leather). Saddle Soap and other 'cleaners' are meant to clean the leather, but they also remove oils fro the leather. IF you use Saddle Soap (Bick1 is a liquid version of SS and easier to use), then let the chaps dry again, and recondition them with a leather conditioner in order to replace the leather's natural oils.

visit www.bickmore.com to see their product line and leather care tips.

Hope this helps,

bc
