Next time I decide to rebuild my website...

...talk me out of it!  

I forget how much crap I've got on that thing until I pull something like 
this...what a pain.  Ah well, hopefully it'll provide a good 
advertisement for my 1337 skillz or something like that.  

Progress report, for anyone that cares:  I've made all of the new page 
banners, rebuilt the imaging services pages, and the front page, 
including scrapping out the "journal archive" page and setting the front 
page "blog" (i hate that word) to just display the last 10 entries, no 
matter how old they are, and then a navigation bar at the bottom to look 
backwards.  This has the net effect of NOT leaving the front page blank 
if I don't get off my ass and add a journal entry at least every 30 days.

I'm also going through EVERYTHING and nitpicking page by page - making 
sure everything has a page title, running a spellchecker on all of the 
databases (I *really* need to be more conscientious about spellchecking 
and so forth; there are scads of typos all over the place), that kind of 
fine-toothed comb stuff.  I'm honestly wondering at this point if it 
wouldn't be easier just to delete the whole damn site and start from 
scratch, but that of course is ridiculous.  Still, there's a LOT of 
tweaking, correcting, and so forth to be done.  Good thing I have no 
life.

Anyway, I'm just babbling to waste time because I'm sick of looking at 
Dreamweaver and Photoshop at the moment.  I figure it'll be the weekend 
at least before I finish going through this page by page and record by 
record making everything "perfect."  

I want to thank everyone again for their help, especially Krusty.  The 
advice and links you provided are proving invaluable to the decision-
making process.  Hopefully the end result will resemble a REAL website, 
rather than a glorified blog.
