You! Yes, YOU, Krusty ([EMAIL PROTECTED])! Behind the rec.sport.pro-wrestling sheds! Stand still, laddie! > My ONLY weakness with regards to shit like that, has been my ongoing > project to turn every wrestling video I have, into a DVD, and > honestly, that was an effort to get rid of all those horrendously > klunky boxes of tapes. I just knew they were going to go bad at some > point, and converting them to DVD would help me hold on to what I > consider my only real vice...wrestling matches... *nods* this is my "big project" for the next (and last) year or so - not only wrestling tapes, but all of my vids. I've got shit like MTV Earth Day 1991, an old Stryper concert, all kinds of MTV unplugged shit, and one of my personal favorites - and the oldest home-recorded clip in my collection - a 30-second snippet from CNN in 1988 showing Ric Flair at a campaign appearance for George Bush Sr. in Charlotte. I hope I can still FIND that one, I haven't seen it in years. I've got three big boxes full of tapes like this - a hundred eps or so of Beavis, a bunch of old Prime Time Wrestling shows (including Perfect dumping a pitcher of Water over Bobby Heenan, and the Plate Glass Superkick), even a couple of the old GWF shows from ESPN (I know Booker T is on one of them). Many of these tapes are now approaching the very end of their effective lifespan; I hope that I can get them digitized and recorded to DVD before they decay completely. -- John Henry -Now playing: Led Zeppelin.Kashmir http://www.lowgenius.com - if it's not one thing http://www.rspw.net - it's the other. I don't remember half the time if I'm hiding or I'm lost, but I'm on my way -- Soundgarden
