I've had a DVD player for about 5-6 years, since my wedding, and I >have a grand total of about a dozen DVDs, all given to me as >christmas/birthday presents. $40 for a season of Friends? on DVD? Why? $40 >for a season of Simpsons? on DVD? > >Look at that shelf of DVDs, collecting dust, which you may or may not watch >about 5 more times total, and add it all up, then post the dollar amount >here in this thread. I wanna chuckle... Alright, I guess I'll add my $0.02... I basically agree with you Krusty, as far as the fact that I don't buy any *movie* on DVD. I either rent it to check it out, or get them as gifts. Now, box sets on the other hand, I'm more inclined to buy. The only ones I have though are the Aqua Teen Vol. 1 set ($30), the Flair DVD set ($35) and the first Family Guy set ($35). I just think it's cool to have that kind of stuff just lying around, so whenever I'm bored (and that's a lot), I can pop in an episode/match/whatever that I love, or that I haven't seen in a while. I also have Monty Python and the Holy Grail that I got as a gift, and the Life of Brian that I borrowed from a friend (that I still haven't watched all the way through...it proves your argument). I'll probably buy Kill Bill when it comes out on DVD because it rules so much. Besides that, I don't see the need to buy them myself. So...there you go. ------------------------------------------- "We brocke dourt bar blaaaaaaaaaaaaaa BROCK LESNAR" -- HitMan333 "You people have been led to believe that mediocrity is excellence.
