I have to really REALLY like the movie in order to buy it....thus, the only REAL movies I have are the Kevin Smith movies, Boondock Saints, Swingers, Made, Higher Learning, Lone Star State of Mind, and the Family Guy. The rest of them are concert DVDs.What's the deal with "buying" dvds? Why do people do this? I seriously don't get it. I've had a DVD player for about 5-6 years, since my wedding, and I have a grand total of about a dozen DVDs, all given to me as christmas/birthday presents. $40 for a season of Friends? on DVD? Why? $40 for a season of Simpsons? on DVD?
Look at that shelf of DVDs, collecting dust, which you may or may not watch about 5 more times total, and add it all up, then post the dollar amount here in this thread. I wanna chuckle...
