http://www.wwe.com/news/commentary/bradshaw/1243885 Way too much country left in me by Bradshaw Oct. 30, 2003 Disclaimer: These views are those of John Layfield, aka Bradshaw, and not necessarily those of World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. Free at last, free at last; thank God almighty, I am free at last. Want to know why divorce cost so much? It's worth it. OK, so I guess you can figure out why I have been bad about sending in any new articles to WWE.com. I have been too busy answering subpoenas from my now officially EX-wife. Be sure and watch me on FOX News Channel's "Cashin In'" this Saturday, Nov. 1 at 11:30 a.m. ET. Wayne Rogers claimed he was going to kick my ass. Wayne was Trapper John on "MASH" and is actually a very smart guy; however, the shirt he wore a couple of weeks ago either had batteries or a long extension cord. Wayne said that this week he was going to kick my ass. There are some people who claim I never sell. Well, I won't this week for Wayne. I had a great time last week with the FOX News show "Bulls & Bears." Brenda Buttner is one of the best hosts I have ever worked with. She makes the show. The whole crew is great. Tobin Smith belongs in the TV industry. Great guy. Everyone on the show is a pleasure to work with: Scott Bleier, Gary B. Smith (just the fact that he plays golf everyday makes me like him) and Pat Dorsey. These guys understand they are in the entertainment industry, which is why FOX has the No. 1-rated financial shows. I am really looking forward to returning home to wrestle in Dallas for Survivor Series. God bless Texas. I have taken some ribbing lately for living in New York and becoming a Yankee, which I am not, though there is nothing wrong with that. I just have way too much country left in me. I have been spotted drinking beer out of a glass, but my assertion is that it was really half a mug, only without the handle. I did attend Game 7 of the American League Championship Series, but that does not yet a Yankee make me. I also have learned which fork to use at the dinner table. In Texas, we are just glad to have clean silverware. Speaking of beer, I had a hell of a time at the Texas/Oklahoma football weekend -- notice I didn't say "game," because they kicked our ass again -- with Jim Ross, Kevin Dunn and Big. I think Kevin and Big plan to attend every big sporting event for the next decade. They enjoy life, which is what life is all about. J.R. just plans on attending OU games, which is his way of enjoying life. Life is about enjoying it, not just existing. These guys are great to be around. I did lose my traditional $1 bet with Gerry Brisco. He called me about 20 times during the game. He really is a Texan at heart. Give my book a chance. I have had good reviews on it. I think you will enjoy it. Looking forward to Survivor Series. I think it will be a hell of a show.
