To be honest, not really... I realized fairly quickly that I had my
role, just like other people had theirs... I was the smart one... So I
used that to my advantage... I have more lasting memories of high
school, looking around at how inane the things that most kids deemed
important at the time.

No, they're making the list to encourage the school administration to
investigate and perhaps fire them... It just made me wonder why the
first thing conservatives want to do when they see or hear something
they don't like is to censor it, but then I started thinking that
Liberals do pretty much the same thing, only under a different name.

And vice versa... The thing that made me chuckle is that these kids
were talking about how it's horrible to be a persecuted conservative,
having liberal views rammed down your throat, when, given the chance,
conservatives have been known to do the exact same thing to liberals
themselves.

Got me to thinking it's about time we set aside this whole "My team,
your team" mentality, because it's obviously not cutting it... For
example, I'm an athiest, and believe that morality is relative,
putting me on the liberal side, but I believe that people should be
free to try to own firearms, putting me on the conservative side...
There's obviously more than one team out there, and the two party
system - the act of assuming that whoever doesn't agree with you on an
issue is on the other team - just doesn't work any more.
