"Void of thought"? Gimme a break, Buse. I've done my research, thought it out, and formed my opinion. Sapp has done nothing to change my opinion of him in the last year or so, if anything he's done even more to solidify it. My opinion of him is not just about the slavery statement. It's about the incident with Clifton and Sherman last year. It's about the incident with Jerry Rice. It's about the stretch-line skips. It's about bumping the ref. It's about the fact that he runs his mouth before the game but is almost invisble after they lose. The man is classless and unprofessional, two things that I have a problem with no matter what "generation" you belong to. > > Since when has the NFL said you can't spike the ball after scoring? > > Since they fined Chad Johnston for doing as such three weeks ago. Damn them for wanting to celebrate. Yeah, damn them for taking the time to make up a "routine" to embarass and disrespect their opponents. "Heat of the moment" celebration? Spontaneous excitement? I'm all for it. 60-second touchdown dances? Sharpies in the sock? Racing to mid-field to do a Christ pose? All pre-planned, classless, and disrespectful. > > So why doesn't he back off of and apologize for the "incorrect" > > statement? > > I'm not Warren Sapp, I can't tell you why. Rumor is that's what the problem is between A-Rod and Showalter. In-fucking-credible. If this is true, then I'm gonna lose some respect for A-Rod. Greg
