You will likely get a lot of speedball strategies but woodsball is a little different. You tend to get split up and fields aren't consistent. In woodsball you would be best running in groups of 5 or more with a run and gun style of play. Communicate as much as possible and even assign some simple hand motions so that you can call someone's name and request cover fire as you push to the next cover position or give opposition location and numbers. You don't want to get singled out in woodsball as pushing in on someone with good cover can be costly even with numbers on your side. Use angles and concentrated crossfire just like in speedball, but move more. Speedball is a veritable maelstrom of paint, but woodsball generally has less paint flying about due to brush and other obstacles. Two people can hold down bunkers while a third moves for position. This is why 5 or more is good. While 3 take a bunker, the other two can support and look out for additional opposition moving into the area. If you get to tape lines play just like speedball. Hail out the paint and push push push to get position since you will likely have a cleaner sight line.
