how r.s.o warps one

I've been out of action due to hardware & software problems, but just as
they started in Sept. I wanted to remark on how I noticed participating in
this group has affected me.

I was watching a game clip of football on TV shot end zone view, and instead
of paying attention to the players, I was watching the umpire take a few
steps forward, then turn around & run looking back over his shoulder.  (He
was covering a draw play that broke for a TD.)

In Oct. I went to the Garden State Football League championship final and
saw they had a 7-official crew (plus assistants).  One of them said they
used 7 in the playoffs and 6 in the regular season, adding, "Great, isn't
it?"  Still, even before reading here I'd paid att'n to # of officials like
that -- but not often to their mechanics!
