My point is, it's bad form to have the coaches call the toss, or ask them for the options. Yes, you may ask them what they intend to call or choose BEFORE the toss; but ultimately, the rules only permit you to take these decisions from a captain. The game is for the players. Coaches do NOT call the toss ... no matter how much extra $$$ they paid to coach. I don't see John Gruden or Jim Tressel calling the toss. My high school coaches will begin calling the toss the day I see that happen. -- Scott
