He also has the "choice or option" to go home and take his team with
him. Is that an option at the toss in your world?

Well than you are reading into the rule things that aren't there.

So in other words you want me to explain rule 3-2-3 without using 3-2-3
" as a crutch" : ) I think you have done a fine job of that. I'll stick
to what it says in the rule book.
