I suppose he'd also faint if he heard what I tell each coach before the game:

"If there's a decision to be made by your captain on a penalty, I'll turn so
that he can look over my shoulder to see what you want to do.  If it's
something really screwy, I'll try to get him to walk with me toward your bench
and talk loud enough that you can hear your options.  Once your captain gives
me a decision, that's what we'll have to go with."

Coaches are control freaks.  It's downright unrealistic to believe that they'd
trust their livelihood to a teenager who may have his mind more on the
cheerleaders than the game.
