I also choose my battles carefully. I make my choices, in a way, that if
someone shoves a rule book in my face, what it says to do, is how I do
it.

OK this should be good. How can this be interpreted to read that a coach
who is "well away from the toss" is making the choices? Does he have to
shout, from thirty yards away? It pretty clearly states that only the
captains can be present at the toss.
