Re: george question about work you did for me

Harris,

First of all, I'm not sure they make a XXL cart that would fit you, you're more the minivan size and I haven't seen much competition in that arena. And yeh, the auto tranny is probably the way to go. I did lots of research today and am trying to find a relatively local event to attend as a spectator - are you and Bob interested in going if I find something? I know if will be hard for you to spend 12,000 on a kart and only get 1/2mph more speed but I'm sure you'll find a way. How's that brick work at the Hacienda coming? Told you, Craigs experience with brick is dropping them out of the airplane to ripple the water before he lands.

Heck... I love the idea of the Karts. I am bored as hell this winter. I
think Bob will go for it. Let us know when you are ready to go. I know I can
smoke your old tired ass any day of the week in one of those bad boy's.
Kicked you butt all over the lake this summer.. Can't belive you want an ass
whooping on the track also HEE HEE
I would think that you should be doing some work to the GPR this winter so
you don't have to rode behind all the STXR'S next summer. Ya Ya I know...
you say you are going to bring out a bad boy GPR 1300 with all the mods from
our friend down south. You can handle that much power old man. Get real will
ya. I think you better order up that old slow kart that Bill has.. the one
with the automatic trany. That is about your speed.. heck you can smoke and
have one hand fee to steer... Man I have been bored this winter... sure glad
you posted to this so I would have something to piss and moan about at your
expense

Hey fatty,

Well, since you younger guys have shunned us old farts, I need to look
for something that's competitive, some risk of injury and the ability to
make other people look slow! Hey, can't live forever and might as well
go doing something you love and that provides for spectacular endings!

Tom,
Don't mean to butt-in here BUT........ My advise would be to go spectate

a

while first. I don't know about your area, but around here things are
extremely competitive. Most people start out with a KT Kart similar to

what

Bill O describes and work their way up to shiftys. I was thinking about
driving it until I saw a guy slide about 50 feet upside down on his

helmet

and get hauled off in the meat wagon. SCREW THIS says me! This

particular

crash was a little unusual, however the possibility is there.

George,

Speaking of shifter carts, is there a seniors class for this? I've always been interested but had neither the time nor the money. Now I have both but have advanced in years a bit (LOL). Is there a good site for information on both the racing aspects and equipment needed/cost?

I

still love PWC's but would like to add another competitive hobby and I
broke far too many bonex in motorcross many years ago and so want
something a little tamer. Thanks for any info.
