Thr R motors used a Kinetic Copper base gasket. They would custom make them to
the proper thickness. 

Assemble the motor and measure the squish clearance. Then figure out the proper
base gasket thickness to achieve the desired squish and have it made. 

Note - The VE 920 motors used a stock Sea-Doo gasket trimmed to fit. You may be
able to do the same here.
