Use a glue gun and add a fair bit of glue to the blade, and also put some in
the shaft.  Make sure both are heated real good first, and then dump the
glue, and pop it in.  Let the glue dry and then you can ship away at the
excess on the outside, but be careful not to break the seal it creates.
I've gone a half a season without any problems.  Just use more glue, and use
it in the shaft.
