Re: Week 13 NFL picks

Thanks for the feedback.  I had an old roommate who claimed she made a lot
of money each week betting football odds.  I never believed her so I decided
to make some paper bets.  Starting with week four this year, I have been
trying to pick winners based on vegas odds.  It was my belief that it is
almost impossible to make decent money gambling on football.  So far this
year, I am 75 wins and 65 losses when playing the odds.  I haven't gone back
calculated my picks based solely on the winners, but it proved my point.  No
matter how well you know football, betting on the odds isn't a good thing...

BTW, how about those Jets last night?  I have always been impressed by
Fisher's teams (the Titans).  They always come out to play.  But Pennington
is starting to get his mojo back and what I love most about the NFL is that
ANY team can beat any other team on any given week.  I think I was most
impressed by the Jets's defensive line - constant pressure on McNair.  Good
game.
