These picks are made "straight up" - not against the spread. Usually I
try to make note of it but didn't this time.

I tried at a friend's suggestion to do a similar roster of picks against
the spread, but no one seemed too interested in that.

It's been very informal - but lots of fun. My local friends and I do
this every season and around week 6 I decided to post it to some
appropriate newsgroups. Gotten to know some cool football fans that way
and suggestions have been floated around that we try to organize it more
formally next year. Mostly it's just a cool thread to agree/disagree on,
and we compare our records to date - just on the honor system - to check
ourselves against each other. Feel free to jump in and comment -
Wednesday I'll post next week's.
