How can anyone say Bill Walsh is a better coach than Joe Gibbs? Gibbs
teams played in the most brutal division in football for over a decade
going up against the Cowboys, Eagles, and Giants when all those teams
were great. Walsh's Niners played in the pathatic NFC West with
mediocre Rams and bad Falcons and Saints teams. Gibbs won Super Bowls
with *three* different QBs - two of whom were marginal at best (Doug
Williams and Mark Rypien). Walsh had one QB - arguably the best ever
- at that position for a decade.

Gibbs was just as much of an innovator as Walsh. While Walsh gave us
the West Coast offense, Gibbs made the counter-trey, three WR set a
standard that nearly ever team utilizes to some extent today.
