The AFL season (which will have anywhere from 18-20 teams in 2004,
depending on how expansion goes.  Right now New Orleans and Phily are
in, and Austin, TX is heavily rumored) starts the week of the NFL Pro
Bowl, a week after the Super Bowl.  This was to accomidate NBC, which
now does the AFL Game of the Week on Sundays (actually 3-4 games in
regional action, much like Sunday NFL coverage).  The ArenaBowl
championship game is in late June.

The af2 season, which is the "AAA" league of the AFL played in
mid-level markets, goes from April-August.
