Re: new sleeper candidate for 2004

>leaving 9 guys off the elite 30 list or barely making it.... that group
includes

Marshall Faulk
Joe Horn
Eric Moulds
Cory Dillion
RIch Gannon
Donovan Mcnabb
Mike VIck
Tiki Barber
>Travis Henry

Injuries rather than ineffectiveness are why these guys' numbers declined. Do
you really think Mike Vick and Faulk will drop below the top 30? Besides,
Horn's numbers aren't so bad. And McNabb is now coming on and could be still in
the top 30 because folks will say he didn't bounce back totally from his injury
this year but will next year. Barber will gain over 1,000 yards and is a pass
catching threat and Henry will probably score 10 TDs despite an injury-plagued
season. The only three I really see dropping out of the top 30 are Moulds and
Gannon because they both barely made it there this time around anyway and maybe
Dillon since there will be talk about Rudi sharing carries with him.

>Who are top 15 candidates to be picked in the 3rd round next year and move
into the elite.

>Matt Hasselbeck
>Trent Green

Very little difference between these two and B. Johnson and Kitna
statistically.

>Santana Moss
Agreed
>Chad Johnson
Agreed
>Anquan Boldin
Maybe
>Brian Westbrook
Why? No one knows what the Eagle backfield will look like next year. This guy
really has no value unless you throw in his return yards.
>Laveranues Coles
Thus far he's low in TDs and in the middle with receptions. Probably not top
30.
>Rudi Johnson
No. Shares with Dillon. People are cutting him at this point.
>Darrell Jackson
Koren Robinson may bounce back, affecting Jackson's #s. Won't be top 30.
>Reggie Wayne
Improved over last year, but still not top 30.

others who may move into the elite are
>TJ Duckett

Dunn. Nope!
>Anthony Thomas
Has improved, but still not to top 30 levels.
>Petter Warrwick
Nope -- may not go over 1,000 yards.
>Keenan McCardell
Don't know if one good year puts him in top 30.
>Steve Smith
One good year.
>Marcel Shipp
Plays for team that gets behind by a lot. Nope.
>Domanick Davis
Just 3 TDs. Nope!
>Chad Pennington
Injury concerns. Nope!

I just see three replacements. S. Moss, C. Johnson and maybe Boldin in, with
Gannon, Moulds and maybe Dillon out.
