Many verbals are made before the >propsect's senior football season. and there is a ton of pressure to >make verbals hold. True. I wasnt saying they werent serious before this weekend... but due to scheduling conflicts, senior breakout seasons, etc etc. this is still the biggest weekend thus far for visits.... many kids wait until now to even start making their visits. Does it mean as much for Nebraska as some other schools.... no, as they are still Nebraska & can get a good number of recruits early on... but that still doesnt mean this weekend and those following are any less important. UNL has 13 verbals so far, so while a lot of recruiting is done, a lot of recruiting has yet to be done. The kid that may be straddling the fence knows whats going on at the other school, and doesnt at UNL. I dunno, I just think them firing w/o an immediate replacement was stupid.
