You know how, at the beginning of the semester, you explicitly spelled 
out the course requirements? like how homework was a big fraction of the 
grade, but that you would preview it for us and correct it *before* we 
turned it in, so we could get really good homework scores? and how we 
could drop our lowest quiz score and all that?

well, i knew all that, but i still didn't bother turning in a few 
homeworks. And I screwed up a whole bunch of quizzes. so i'm wondering, 
even though you said at the beginning how there would be no extra 
credit, can i do some extra credit to save my grade? i know most every 
one else managed to get homework in on time, and all that, but see I'm 
really not used to getting poor grades, and I'd like you to make an 
exception for me.
