There is a difference, clearly. I was merely pointing out that UM-tOSU isn't perfect in this regard, either. As for the coaching stuff, I don't ever recall Bobby telling the press he hated Spurrier. I'm sure he admitted that Spurrier irritated the hell out of him (which was Spurrier's goal all along), and that he hated the way he made things personal, but I'm equally sure he never said "I hate Steve Spurrier." Frankly I think the extreme bad blood between these teams was Spurrier's doing and it will eventually fade as the kids who remember those years graduate. He elevated it from a contest between football teams and made it personal with the coaches and certain players. Case in point, Ernie Sims and Chris Leak (both true freshmen) were talking and laughing about the game while 20 yards away the upperclassmen were fighting. Unfortunately what happened this year will just feed the fires for at least one more year. -- Alan Mundy
