How many cities in this great land of ours could realistically support a

CFL

franchise?

I really don't think all that many,...

You'd probably need a populatiion of 250k+ I think, and you don't want the
city to be a suburb of a pre-existing CFL city. So a lot of cities are off
the list right away.

Quebec city, perhaps (kinda small) Halifax, probably, (kinda small) ... I
thikn the BC interior MIGHT be bale to pull it off, but they are a little
thin on population (Kelowna/Penticton). All of the major centers pretty much
have CFL teams. Let's face it, we're Canada, we don't have a lot of really
big cities ... Victoria?, to small.

I think they could have a CFL team in Calgary, if they really tried,... ;-P
(Okay okay, cheap shot,... It's an old joke, I couldn't resist,...)

Victoria far exceed the 250K population that you state is neccessary to support a team. In 2001 their population was listed as 311,902.
