And I will admit, they did make some impressive field goals from 40-45 yeards. The uprights are really close together, i think 6 feet... I did find it kinda entertaining how the ball was live on missed field goals, and how the returner would have to be facing the wrong direction to pick the ball up off the net if it was missed. It's kind of a strange game,.... And you do have o respect the "ironman" aspect of the AFL. Ya know, at first I kinda enjoyed the game, but after a while, it got to be really lame. The plays were kinda pointless, because they seemed to score on every set of downs,... I read in the Sun the next day that it was something like the 3rd highest scoring game in Arena ball history. doesn't surprise me, there was literally zero defence. It wasn't a great showcase for the game,... I've watched AFL a few times, and it; always been better than what I seen that night. Then again, it was pre-season,.... (I guess) The other highlight of the night was when me and my buddy were caught on the jumbotron, goofing around, picking our noses with those big "#1" fingers,.. hee hee,....
